also, i've been contemplating the idea of NOT shooting a video for my track "look out cali" (which you can download at www.myspace.com/christianstepien, simply because many of the tracks from my new album are being featured in our short film (including that one). instead of adding on an extra work load, i'm going to focus all of my energy on making the film as good as possible.

what is the dagobah project?

The Dagobah Project is a critically acclaimed, award winning art duo. The Dagobah Project is Christian and Damien Stepien. The philosophy behind the Dagobah Project is simple: live simple, live free, live happy. We strive to make life as peaceful as possible, using art as our vehicle.
The photographs we make reflect our passion & curiosity for all things natural. We focus our attention on the natural world because, all too often, that is the world which is ignored. To make matters worse, it is being destroyed at an alarming rate. We are not activists. We are simply making photographs of a world that, unfortunately, may never look this way again. Hopefully the photographs we make today will serve as a reminder to current & future generations that the world was, at one point, healthy and free & that in this state life thrived.
The music & poetry put out by Christian of the Dagobah Project also reflect this sense of peace in all things natural, be it environmental, psychological or emotional.
Although not an "art form" perse, the dagobah boys enjoy carving the concrete hills of Ontario on their longboards. It's on these 4 foot long planks of wood that their minds become free, stress fizzles away, and life is lived in the moment.
